Two workshops will be conducted by Marian Hoy representing the RMAA and Dr Sigrid McCausland of the ASA at the forthcoming RMAA Convention and at the Joint ASA/ARANZ/PARBICA Conference.

1.RMAA Convention in Adelaide
Sunday 20 September 2009: 12.00 – 2.00pm
Adelaide Convention Centre, North Terrace, Adelaide

2.Joint ASA/ARANZ/PARBICA Conference in Brisbane
Wednesday 14 October 2009: 1.30 – 2.00pm (briefing) and 2.00 – 4.00 pm (workshop)
Sofitel Hotel, 249 Turbot Street, Brisbane

Topics include:
* Uses in education, professional development and recruitment
* Incorporating community perspectives of recordkeeping, such as those of indigenous, marginalised and minority groups
* Reflecting current day informatics and information technology perspectives.

These workshops will be open to members of the ASA and RMAA, educators and representatives of allied professions at no charge.
